About Me

My name is Ross Alexander, I’m 24 years old and have always had a passion for motorsport with previously trying out Motocross, but after an accident in 2016, I decided to move away from 2 wheels and onto 4.  

For my 17th Birthday, my parents bought me a track day using a MINI CHALLENGE R56 Cooper S race car.  It’s safe to say that after that track day, I was set on a goal, and that was building an R56 Race car of my own.

In 2019, my Grandad Leonard Mason sadly passed away and we inherited his 2007 R56 MINI Cooper S.  To keep the car in the family, I took on his car and decided to use it as a daily and slowly modified it throughout the years with the help of Millsys Autos and AReeve Motorsport who both worked their magic.

During mid-2022, the car was race ready and I ran 4 races in the Kumho BMW series as a test to dial in the car with the full support of AReeve Motorsport to see how I and the car performed against some very serious cars and drivers. 

On my 4th ever race weekend at a wet Oulton Park, I managed to come P1 in qualifying, P1 in Race 1 and P2 in Race 2

For 2023, I raced in the MINI CHALLENGE CLUBSPORT series.  In my first full season, I came 2nd in the S R56 Class and 3rd in the S Class overall.

For 2024, I raced in the the MINI CHALLENGE CLUBSPORT Open Class and with 8 wins, I came 1st in the Open Class Championship!!

I am now looking forward to the 2025 Race Season where I will be racing in the CSCC Ramair BMW Championship running in the MINI Class
